With the help of Claudine, my interpreter and our lead missionary (and who also happens to write children’s books), we have put together a series of articles that reference local culture as well as some personal stories about the people we interact with. We feel it is important to do both as writing about one without the other would leave somewhat of a hole or gap in sharing about life here and the people in it. They are interconnected and intertwined, helping you see and appreciate the context of what, and who, we are writing about.
Rwanda is a beautiful country with beautiful people, maybe especially so in the rural areas where life might seem hard but whose people who live there do so in a very dignified, gracious, and often joyful way.
We will be posting a minimum of one story a month, at which time that story will be archived to be able to be seen at your discretion, and a new one will appear. Thank you in advance to taking the time to share a bit with us about our world.
